This is a pretty sexy little car with performance to match its looks. Problem is, you know that performance is going to be expensive. Four PML Flightlink in wheel motors aren't cheap. I'd say they will charge $72,000. Just guess. So once again, it's nice, people will buy it but it won't meet the masses. Maybe the next version will.

This looks like a great car. Any word yet on pricing? Zap has more of a background in EVs than other companies.

ZAPs have 98% fewer pollutants than oil-powered cars and require no stops at the gas station or oil changes.
I took a Xebra for a test drive and was pretty happy with it. It had a cd player, heater, and comfortable seating.
They are super quiet and have great handling and turn radius. The shocks are pretty shaky though since the car is so little. Great option for driving around town though. Check it out. www.zapworld.com

Yeah, The MSRP is pretty high at $60,000 Dollars. I thought the same thing about only the wealhy being able to afford them, but then
I though about people that have a lot of equity in their homes. The Payment a $60,000 loan would then be about $350,00 a month at current interest rates. I put out about $550.00 a month a gas. That's
a $200.00 Difference. Granted the expensive vehicle insurance and charge the vehicle may ad up to $50.00 a month, I'd still save $150.00 a month. That's before considering oil changes, plugs, tuneups... I'm gonna sit down and figure the costs of a gas engine. If I set that money aside, it might come in handy when its time to replace the batteries.
